We got our first hard frost over the weekend.  It finally KO’d the basil, peppers, tomatoes and nasturtiums which were already just barely hanging on.  We took that chance to dig our sweet potatoes, harvest as many green peppers as we could and finally do some garden cleanup.  Frost makes parsley taste really good, too. … Continue reading »

Fall continues unabated.  Leaves around the farm seem to have reached their peak color and are now fading and falling.  We’re done digging potatoes and we’re done picking salad mix and stir-fry greens for the season.  The celeriacs we haven’t yet picked seem to be continuing to swell, or perhaps that’s just my wishful thinking.  … Continue reading »
